Our Program:
Friday: Bus transfer from Frankfurt/Hahn Airport to hotel in Treis-Karden. After moving into your room and exploring the area,
dinner is ready for you at 7 p.m. in the winery. Moselle-district
cuisine awaits you with a hearty 'Winzerbraten', or Winegrower's
Roast, accompanied by potato gratin. Afterwards it's off to the wine
cellar with the Master Winegrower for an entertaining wine tasting
session. A festive evening is guaranteed for all! Overnight stay.
Saturday: After a reviving breakfast, we leave Karden at 10:40
a.m. with the boat headed for Cochem. This world-famous village on the
Moselle and its delightful surroundings welcome you with open arms. Take
in this picture-book landscape for revitalisation and enjoyment.
Explore this attractive city and its many framework houses,
picturesque alleyways and numerous wine cafes. Visit the Reichsburg
Castle, or ride the chairlift to Pinnerkreuz and enjoy a magnificent
view of the city. Or simply stroll through the narrow streets on a
journey of discovery. Take advantage of Cochem's lively shopping town
flair. And Cochem of course has much more to offer ... expect the
unexpected!
At 1:15 p.m., return journey with the boat to Treis…where everything
is already prepared and waiting for you. Dine together on a ribald
skewered roast with potato salad, and round it off with a drop of
delicious Moselle wine.
Off we go on the covered wagon ride! After a cordial greeting
beverage, we're off! We enjoy the beautiful view of the Moselle Valley during our tour of the vineyards. We've completed the
first stage and stop for a break, where we sample a tasty,
home-grown Moselle wine. Then we head back, relaxed and revived.
Dinner awaits you at the hotel, where you are party to a
delicious 3-course meal. To close out the evening, we've got a
DJ or live music at the Schlosshotel Petry. So shake a leg!
Sunday: After a vitalising breakfast, there's still time
for a farewell toast before heading off on the return journey.
Bus transfer from Treis-Karden back to the Frankfurt-Hahn
Airport.
